WhatsApp iOS Update will allow Voice Notes as Status

Your favorite instant messaging app is about to bring you some new cool features. Meta has recently been introducing several new features on each of its platforms. Improving user experience has lately taken the front seat in today’s highly competitive environment. With several apps fighting in the market to grab user attention, it has become very important for bigger players to introspect. Meta seems to have taken this hint and started working on it.

Out of several features that are being explored, one that might get a release soon is a big one for WhatsApp status. The platform will now allow Voice Notes also on the status section. Currently, all of us are used to uploading images, text, and videos under our status. This feature of status has gained widespread popularity in recent times. So the new twist of allowing Voice Notes as well now might be an exciting update. The platform will then give a lot more flexibility and options to the users.

It is being said that this feature is likely to come to iOS first. Though it will release only as a beta version initially. Gradually it is expected to become a regular part of the platform with the next big iOS update from Apple. This is big news for iOS users. Generally, such updates are released on Android prior to iOS but WhatsApp is making news with its surprising move on this feature.

A lot has been going on on the WhatsApp platform lately. It recently released the ‘tools’ section for WhatsApp Business users. This brought all business tools in one place, eliminating the need to go to WhatsApp settings.

Another big change was the freedom to message yourself. And this has gained instant popularity. These improvements are likely to improve user experience and hook them even more to this platform. The Voice Note feature for status is highly anticipated for this same reason. It is believed that users might be able to record clips of upto 30 seconds to upload on status. There are several other features being tested as well, all of this on WhatsApp Beta.

Once the data and feedback come back to the company, some of these features might be rolled out in updates. While there is a high chance that some of these features might not see the light of day beyond the beta testing. Are you excited to get your hands on these features?
